Self-Regulation Skills

Self Regulation Coaching facilitates and empowers people to change and improve their quality of life. Learning self regulation skills helps people to reduce problematic symptoms that they may be experiencing, and/or improves their well-being. By learning self regulation skills one increases their ability to meet one’s needs with less tension and more success. Self Regulation Skills Training is done in a systems- or multi-model approach.

I envision Self Regulation Skills Training much like a three-legged stool. The platform or seat of the stool is based on three major legs—Biofeedback Training, Attention Training and Cognitive Reframing.  This stool rests on one’s values, purpose and search for meaning in life. It also rests on our relationships with ourselves and others.
